Pink Christmas Tree

She wanted to start picking out her own clothes and she chose bright oranges and greens. It came as a shock to me that years later she would be swooning over a pink Christmas tree.

I guess that I never really got over her insistence on getting the bright oranges and greens for her clothes and her room decor. Pink is a color that is associated with youth, innocents and, of course little girls. I guess that I wasn’t ready for my little one to become so independent.

She really surprised me when she started showing interest in pinks here and there.
