Inevitably, there are times that you have to fax a form or a document right away — but you don’t have a fax machine. Instead of running down to the local Kinkos, you can fax from your computer.

Online fax services can be free or paid. What you do is log into your account online. You type in the name and fax number of your recipient, click “browse” and pull up the document you need to fax, and then click send. It takes only a couple of minutes. When the fax has reached its destination, you receive a confirmation email.
