Bounce House Hire – Great for any event

May 30, 2009 by

Bring the enjoyment of the fair to your home and be the delight of the neighborhood with your very own bounce house. Whatever the occasion, these inflatable bouncers are always the center of activity for happy kids. They’re great for fundraising events and come in a variety of shapes, colors and styles, ranging from the simple to the elaborate.

Castles and slides and mazes are all bounceable and there are themes and characters to match the feel of whatever the outdoor occasion you are planning. A bounce house for your next event is just a phone call away.

Step 1

Decide on a bounce house. Before you tap online or pick up the phone, take the time to understand the basic construction of a bounce house and its necessary accessories. While you may not be concerned with the ply of the vinyl or the reinforcement of the stitching, you should ensure that the house you are renting isn’t one with a reputation of flaws. Among recently recalled, Chinese manufactured jumping castles are “Castle Kingdom,” “Jump ‘N Kingdom,” and “Bounce ‘N Playhouse.” Ask the rental business about their product. What you want to hear from them is concern for safety and pride in their line.

Step 2

Keep the accessories in mind. A rental company trying to save money may skimp where they should not. In addition to the house, the blowers and the tie-downs, the house should have an entrance step and ballast within (usually sand bags). Enquire before you rent.

Step 3

Meet with your town or city hall. While you may or may not need permits for your party, it’s a good idea to check with community officials. They might be able to affirm a rental company’s reputation and products.

Step 4

Search for a rental company. Depending on where you are geographically, there are plenty of companies that rent jumping castles. Find them online or in the telephone book.

Step 5

Ask about their insurance. If the jumping castles hire company is not bonded, you do not want to do business wth them.

Step 6

Ask about safety. They should be as concerned as you are about the safety of the children who will be using the bounce house. Ask for verbal and written safety rules.

Step 7

Watch the set up of the jumping castles. It needs to be properly tied down, weighted and inflated. If it’s sagging at all, there is something wrong. Check for rips and holes.

Step 8

Be vigilant. Once the product is in your care, make certain to follow the instructions left with you. Among the obvious rules are that children using it should be of the same size, and need to comply with the capacity of the bounce house.
